The Company owns 100% of the 1,030 acres in the Southern Alberta Alderson asset.

 

PRODUCTION

 

Production is from the Lower Mannville Formation. The Company’s Share of production in June was 36 boe/d.

FACILITIES/INFRASTRUCTURE

 

The wells within the Alderson field are connected by pipeline to the 10-03-015-11W4 100% working interest Alderson Oil Facility where the oil is treated, then trucked to the Bow Island Pipeline Terminal.

 

A water disposal well is located at 06-02-015-11W4.

MARKETING

 

Oil is sold to Plains Marketing on a short term contract.

 

RESERVES

 

Proved Developed Producing reserves of 213 Mboe have been assigned at Alderson with a total Proved Plus Probable Producing value of 252 Mboe.

 

Sunburst Formation: The Sunburst Formation is part of the Lower Mannville Group and rests unconformably on Mississippian sediments. Reservoir sands in this area were deposited in a dominantly fluvial setting. Trapping is largely stratigraphic, however structural traps are also present, especially where associated with topography on the Pre-Cretaceous unconformity. In Alderson, the Sunburst reservoir sand has a gross thickness of 4.5- 12 m. Porosity ranges from 8- 30% and permeabilities reach up to 4,200 mD.
