CHAUVIN/PARADISE/REFLEX LAKE (CPR) – OVERVIEW

 

 

HIGHLIGHTS

Land: The Chauvin, Paradise, and Reflex Lake fields (CPR) are located in east central Alberta near the Saskatchewan border. The Company controls a large land position in CPR with a 95% working interest in 74,382 gross acres of land.

 

Production: Production contribution within the CPR fields is provided primarily from the Viking, St. Walburg, and the Base Fish Scales formations. In many areas within CPR, two or more of these target formations overlap, and production is commingled. Company production for December 2010 was 294 boe/d of natural gas.

 

Reserves: CPR was assigned Total Proved reserves of 885 Mboe. This consists of Proved Developed Producing reserves of 647 Mboe, and 238 Mboe of Proved Undeveloped reserves assigned to 17 locations. Probable Additional reserves of 489 Mboe are assigned to ten Probable locations and increased recoveries. Possible reserves of 549 Mboe are assigned to six Possible locations. Total Proved plus Probable plus Possible reserves of 1,924 Mboe are assigned to the CPR area.

Facilities: Natural gas from the Company operated CPR area is pipelined to a compressor station at 05-25-044-02W4. The Company has a 50% working interest in both the pipelines and compressor station. There is a CO+O agreement in place for these facilities. Sales gas from the 05-025 compressor station is transported to the TCPL Estridge Lake meter station located at 13-31-043-02W4.

 

Marketing: All Company gas is sold to BP Canada Energy Company and this contract is renewable every contract year. There is a firm service commitment to TCPL at Estridge Lake for ~ 700 Mcf/d (20 E3m3/d).
