HAYTER OVERVIEW

HIGHLIGHTS

  • 101 boe/d of net natural gas production (December 2010)
  • 3P Reserves of 361 Mboe and $2.8MM (NPV 10%)
  • Upside potential through continued vertical/ directional/horizontal development
  • 95% working interest in 20,877 gross acres of land

Land: The Hayter field is located south of the CPR property in east central Alberta near the Saskatchewan border. 20,877 gross acres of land are controlled by the Company in the Hayter field with 95% working interest.

Production: The majority of the production in the Hayter field is from the Viking Formation and the Base Fish Scales. In December 2010, Company share production averaged 101 boe/d of natural gas from the Hayter field.

Reserves: The Hayter area has 147 Mboe assigned as Proved Developed Producing reserves, 62 Mboe Proved Undeveloped reserves assigned to four locations, and 70 Mboe of Probable Additional reserves. Possible reserves of 81 Mboe were also assigned to the property. Total Proved plus Probable plus Possible reserves of 361 Mboe have been assigned to Hayter.

Facilities: All gas is gathered and transported to a compressor station located at 11-25-041-02W4. The Company owns a 100 % WI in both the gathering system and compressor station. Sales from the compressor station pipelined to a TCPL Chauvin meter station at 04-36-042-02 W4.

Marketing: All Company gas is sold to BP Canada Energy Company on a renewable yearly contract. There is no firm service commitment at this meter station; all gas flows on interruptible service.

Geology:

The geology of the Hayter area is similar to that of the CPR area, which lies to the North. Reservoir quality sands in both the Base Fish Scales and Viking formations are productive in Hayter. Depth to the Base Fish Scales is between 510-575m with the Viking located roughly 50m below that.

Development Potential:

Four Proved Undeveloped locations have been assigned reserves in Hayter. Two of these locations, NW/4 16-042-03W4 and SE/4 02-042-02W4 target the Base of Fish Scales Formation while the other two locations, NW/4 01-042-02W4 and NW/4 02-042-02W4 target the Viking Formation. There are also infill upside locations based on the 80 acre downspacing findings in the CPR area to the North.
