Land

The Company has a 100% working interest in 6,473 net acres of land in the Westlock area of central Alberta.

Development Potential:

The Company has drilled and completed a horizontal Viking oil well in the Westlock area at 08-22-059-25W4. This well was completed using multi-stage fracture technology and is currently being evaluated. Contingent on the results from this well, there is potential to drill numerous horizontal wells in the Westlock area.

Geology:

Viking Formation: The geology of the Viking Formation at Westlock is very similar to Redwater where production is proven. The oil bearing unit is five to six meters thick at Westlock and drilling depths are slightly deeper, being 750-800 meters.
