NORRIS AND REDWATER OVERVIEW

NORRIS

  • High working interest, operated
  • Facilities ownership 263 bbl/d, close to market
  • Infill drilling opportunities
  • Waterflood optimization
  • Future ASP tertiary flood opportunity

LAND: The Norris Field is located approximately 50 km east of Edmonton, Alberta. The Company has an average 77% working interest in 4,188 gross acres of land and operates the majority of production.

PRODUCTION: The Norris field produced 263 bbl/d, and 19 Mcf/d of natural gas, net to the Company in January, 2011. The producing horizon is the Upper Mannville H Pool (Glauconitic sand) at a depth of ~900m.

RESERVES: Proved Producing reserves totaling 435 Mbbl have been assigned to the 30 producing Mannville H Pool oil wells with an incremental 177 Mbbl assigned as Probable Producing. Proved Undeveloped reserves totaling 141 Mbbl have been assigned to four infill/stepout drilling locations with a further 79 Mbbl assigned as Probable Undeveloped. Solution gas reserves follow as 233 MMcf for Total Proved and Total Proved plus Probable of 318 MMcf.

FACILITIES: All produced fluid is gathered and pipelined to a central battery at 14-13-053-18W4 via five satellite batteries. The Company operates all facilities and has an 82.72% working interest in the central battery. The battery capacity is ~1,900 bbl/d and 7,200 bbl of water per day. Produced fluid is treated and the 22.6° API sales oil is trucked to the Company's Leduc 10-22-050-26W4 battery where it enters the Pembina pipeline. Produced water is utilized in the waterflood and solution gas is used for fuel or compressed and transported to the AltaGas plant at 09-28-053-18W4. Makeup water is available from the 02-24-053-18W4 source well.

MARKETING: Sales gas enters the ATCO Pipeline system at the Mundare B #292 meter station and is sold under a one year contract expiring November 1, 2011. Oil is sold to Vitol under a short term month to month contract.

SEISMIC: The entire Norris property is covered by a trade 3-D seismic survey.

LAND: The Redwater property is located approximately 50 km northeast of Edmonton, Alberta. The Company owns interest in 3,491 gross acres of land and operates the majority of production.

PRODUCTION: The Redwater field produced 222 bbl/d, and 22 Mcf/d of natural gas, net to the Company, in January 2011. The producing horizon is the Lower Mannville Ellerslie including the TT, FF, YY and D Pools. There are 14 producing Ellerslie oil wells, two Mannville gas wells (13.75% royalty interest only) and one producing Viking oil well.

RESERVES: Proved Producing reserves totaling 563 Mbbl have been assigned to the oil wells with an incremental 163 Mbbl of Probable Producing reserves based on better performance. Corresponding solution gas reserves total 230 and 66 MMcf. Sproule did not assign reserves to any capital projects. The Company has identified two locations in the Ellerslie D pool and has estimated reserves of 117 Mbbl/well or 234 Mbbl in total.

FACILITIES: All produced fluid is gathered and pipelined to a central battery at 15-23-056-19W4 via three satellite batteries. The Company operates all facilities and has a 100% working interest in the central battery. The battery capacity is ~1,300 bbl/d and 18,000 bbl of water per day. Produced fluid is treated and the 19.2° API sales oil is trucked to the Company’s Leduc 10-22-050-26W4 battery where it enters the Pembina pipeline.
