Drilling locations have been identified to increase take away between water injection wells and/or to down space to 40 acres per well. In 1996 – 97 there were eight infill wells drilled, three of which were horizontals. Type curve analysis indicates recoverable reserves of 86.5 Mbbl for a vertical well and 101.5 Mbbl for a horizontal well.

Additional horizontals have the potential to access the thicker, tighter A Sand. Core data indicates the A sand permeability can be as much as 10 times lower than the B or C sands, however, the porosity is of a similar magnitude, approximately 18%. The Company has identified five horizontal locations to capture unswept reserves in the pool.
